Hybrid vs Ecoboost commuter

I’m interested in getting a new maverick, I drive a lot for work (around 20-25k per year) and was leaning towards getting a hybrid because of the fuel mileage, but my drive is probably 70% highway. Wanted to know if the hybrids fuel efficiency for mostly highway driving is good and if the hybrid would last a while with some many miles. Thanks
