Frycry 5 crashing on start screen

I've just downloaded Frycry 5 on my Steam deck - all files have been verified.

I've tried opening the game with both the Farcry.exe and the launcher.exe it comes with, both do the same. It crashes when the screen comes up that says setting up profile and takes me back to Steam.

Any ideas?
