Cyclobenzaprine

Hi all. Officially diagnosed today after a while of suspicion and test to rule things out. I've been taking cyclobenzaprine as needed for my really bad days, so once a week on average. At my appointment today my rheum suggested I take it every night before bed saying a lot of her fibro patients get a lot of relief/better sleep from this. Looking into it now, I see a lot of things saying that it isn't safe to take for longer than 3 weeks at a time. Has anyone else been on this medication daily for the long term? I'm more just curious about it's effectiveness and side effects of long term use, definitely not seeking medical advice!!!
