I Was Never Partisan Before, But Recent Events Have Changed My View on the Republican Party Forever

I've never considered myself a partisan voter—neither a Republican nor a Democrat supporter. I always tried to evaluate policies and candidates on their individual merits. However, after witnessing recent events, I've made a personal decision to never vote Republican again. No matter what beneficial policies they might propose or how they might represent interest groups I identify with, I've completely lost faith in the party. Their recent actions have pushed me away to the point where I can no longer support them in good conscience. This isn't about becoming a Democrat by default; it's about drawing a personal line based on what I've observed. Has anyone else experienced a similar shift in their political stance recently? I'm curious to hear others' perspectives.
