Should I cheat?

Most of my friends are and I have even prepared 4 chits. But my dad warned me If I got caught I'd lose all of my hard work. Is this really the case? I am gonna take 5 or 10 thousand rupees with me just in case. Don't know if I want to take the risk or not? Please be honest. Bth this is about 10th chem.
