Boss made a weird comment today

So not even an hour ago, the head of my dept walked up to me and asked how my breastfeeding was going and that to make sure I got back “on time” from leaving to go pump, also insinuating it took too long for me to go and do what I need to do. I pump twice here around 4ish, sometimes later because they pressure me to stay even though they know I will get in pain if I don’t pump. I take max 30 minutes to walk to our medical, pump, pour and get back. The second pump I do on my lunch break. I don’t even take my normal 15min break because I leave to go pump. It just felt so weird for him to walk up to me and ask that, especially while I’m in the middle of working. Now I just don’t know what to do like, my husband is saying that was inappropriate for him to ask and that it was against policy for him to even bring up the time it takes etc.
