How should I handle this?
Hi friends,
I have an issue I just want a little advice on.
I had an order for an item. I shipped it as promised and it was delivered last Friday. Saturday, I get a message that the buyer doesn’t like the item. I know what I sent accurately matched the photos, description, etc. According to her, the tutu skirt was “too thin”. It was three layers thick, so this threw me off, but okay, whatever. She then says “The design on the shirt is too small”. “The hair bow wasn’t made right”.
I offered a replacement to ship on Monday. She agreed. Said she needed it by Wednesday. I shipped it Monday with very expensive shipping, and it said “Guarenteed Delivery by 10/25”. I messaged her with the tracking. She then says (after I shipped it as she asked me to) that she wanted a refund. Well, now I’m out the items x2 & shipping x2 (once at my cost of $30). I explained that it should be there by 10/26 if there was any delay. Crickets.
Today, she messaged me again, yodeling about how it still didn’t arrive and she still wants the refund.
I’m annoyed because I’m out two items, $30 in shipping and she still wants a refund. I’m not sure why it was delayed, because USPS told me it would reach her by yesterday. I’m in NY, she is in NJ.
What should I do?
