Yep, illegal fox hunting still happens in the UK…

I’ve seen a lot of people in this subreddit talk about how ‘cool’ fox hunting looks and that actual foxes are no longer hunted with dogs in the UK. Well, that’s sadly not the case…

Unfortunately, whilst fox hunting with dogs is illegal in the UK under most circumstances, it STILL happens. This news special covers:

• recent instances of fox hunting with video evidence (⚠️ distressing)
• instances of hounds being endangered via road traffic collisions
• allegations of police and judicial corruption

For context: It’s worth noting that not all hunt groups continue to illegally hunt foxes, many just trail hunt with dogs or simply don’t use dogs and will follow a trail with just horse and rider (a sort of hack). Those that are illegally hunting often do so under the guise of trail hunting however.
