Openreach engineer - 1.6gb Fibre - equipment

Hello,

I moved into my new house which already had openreach FTTP. 1.6gb is available in my property and postcode so I went for the 1.6gb fibre.

The openreach engineer came who has no idea about the 1.6gb package and seem generally clueless. Said he'd never seen speeds that high. He also didn't swap or upgrade the ONT and left me with the existing one which I didn't realise which was covered in paint and plaster from the previous owners. I've just looked on line and the nokia g-010g-t model seems to only have output capabilities of up to 1gb.

Has anyone else had this issue and what modem do you have on the 1.6gb package. Hopefully I can get someone else out as I haven't reached anywhere near that speed once
