How to find group to play with?

I'm pretty young (F18) and I'm going into college in just a couple of weeks but I love Dungeons and Dragons. I was really hoping that my school may offer a club with it, but no matter where I looked I didn't see one. I would start one up myself, but I lack the materials and knowledge to do so. I've only played a handful of times but really love the game, so I was wondering where I might be able to find a group I could play with? Virtually, of course. My boyfriend (M23) also loves the game but has minimal experience. Any help is nice :D
(I could always learn how to GM if necessary.)
