Inappropriate use of “That’s what she said” 🤦🏽‍♀️

I was in a mediation class that had lots of sharing and guidance. People were really deep and honest and the mediation was all about growth and forgiveness. The facilitation was very focused and sincere.

At the very end everyone was sitting in a circle, hands in prayer position, eyes closed. The teacher expressed gratitude for everyone and closed by saying “Thank you for coming”… It just slipped out!

Nobody laughed. Nobody socialized with me afterward. I think a few people were pissed that I shifted the energy do dramatically. I say “That’s what she said” so much it’s officially a tick that I can’t control 🤦🏽‍♀️
