New to dry eyes

I never had dry eyes before. I went on accutane last year and still didn't experience dry eyes until recently. I went to the eye doctor and he said I had MGD. I have been using warm compresses, cleaning my eyelids and using eye drops. If I am recently diagnosed can it be reversed? I know accutane changes the oil glands and im scared it won't get better. It's weird how it happened 6 months later. Has anyone been on accutane or a medication that caused their dry eyes? And has it gotten better or went away? Need some help and support in this new diagnosis. Thank you for reading.
