Unconventional Mage Builds?
I have tried the three main builds/specializations and I'm looking to mix things up. Currently lvl 25 on my third playthrough, and I'm testing some unconventional builds. I don't care if they aren't optimal - in my previous playthroughs I was melting through enemies after lvl 30 or so (even on Underdog difficulty) so I'm enjoying the challenge. I'm playing a Death Caller mage, and my build is centered around jump attack crits (Downfall skill: Jump attacks guarantee Critical hits if the target is Knocked Down) knock downs, and take downs. Basically staying within melee range, using leech/siphon to stay alive, and wielding my staff like a club. It has been pretty fun so far.
Anyone else find some fun, alternative builds?
