sandals with better tread?

hey gang! i’ve been wearing docs for a decade, and have always been really impressed with how long the soles last, even though i’m pretty hard on shoes. last summer i got some voss sandals (directly from the site), assuming the soles would be made of the same stuff. was surprised to realize after a few weeks of wear that they’re a way softer, almost foamy material that wears down craaaaaazy fast in comparison. are all doc marten sandals like this? do any of the same kind of tough, long-wearing sole as the boots? i’d love to buy those ones! thanks in advance for the help.
