This will be the first event of the season, and we are aware of the responsibility that implies. It will set the tone for the rest of the year and it will be the first big step of the Dota 2 Universe towards The International Shanghai 2019.

Summer may be over, but the party is just beginning. Keep reading for details about the event.

General tournament information

Kicking off the second season of the Dota 2 Pro Circuit, the Kuala Lumpur Major will take place on 16 to 18 November at Axiata Arena.

The Kuala Lumpur Major will see 16 of the best Dota 2 teams around the world fight in a LAN event for a $1.000.000 prize pool. There will be no direct invites to either Minors or Majors. The Major qualifier will run first, and teams who do not qualify for the Major will be eligible to compete in the Minor qualifiers a few days later.
