dog is vomiting once a day - any ideas?

For the last ~4 days my dog has been vomiting once every 24 hours or so. Yesterday it occurred in the mid afternoon (prior to dinner), but the previous days it has been during the night (around 3am).

He is otherwise energetic and behaving normally, and his appetite is normal. I haven’t switched his food in the last couple of months so I’m not sure what could be causing intermittent vomiting with no other symptoms. Any ideas?

Also gonna call the vet and schedule a checkup but that probably won’t be scheduled til next week given that he seems otherwise fine. Lastly, I have provided a photo of my son for dog tax :)
