Printing Mini's

I know I can do a bit of trial and error but I know you guys are a knowledgeable lot:

I'm looking to print onto A4 paper (reinforce and cut out with a circle 1inch cutter) some busts and profiles of characters. I used procreate to make a canvas that was 1x1inch and then modelled my ratios on that. But when printing it creates a border. Which throws off the ratio.

I know I could Google but I don't know how to ask the right question.
