My players are assholes.

We are still working on lost mines of Phandelver and we had a pretty heavy rp session last night. They met Halia last night. They immediately detected she was not trustworthy and refused to give her the letter they found. They immediately started being hard ass es to her and even threatened her. She used her influence to block entrance to the local mine, which the players wanted to investigate and talk to miners. They bribed their way in, but we’re sold out. Halia were brought a group of miners to escort them out, and things esclated. For a month, I thought they were going to go full murder hobo. Luckily the playera realized things could go pretty bad if they attacked the head of the miners guild and backed down.
