Everyday Uses of Illusion Magic
We’re starting a campaign in a couple weeks and I’m locked in as the Illusionist Wizard. To try to incorporate his affinity for illusion, I want to show it in the backstory. I want more of a “Dave from work” vibes to start so I started thinking practical uses of illusion. Few ideas sprang to mind like: barbers assistant- showing customers different styles to decide what they’d want, same premise but interior decorating- “how would this wood and fabric combo look with this art”, or one of the first sketch artists for the city guard. Traveling circus, and storytelling (with a bard or something). With this kinda vibe in mind, what do you think would be an everyday use of illusion magic?
