Saw A DnD Post From Someone Who Clearly Wanted A Different System

Today I saw a DnD LFG post that was like “everything is homebrew, and I don’t mean just content, all the mechanics, heck, there aren’t even classes! The only thing it has in common with DnD is it uses D20s!” and all I thought was “That’s playing a non DnD TTRPG. Not a homebrew DnD game”. I found it kinda funny and also a tad strange (although I have read this is more common than I’d expect). Anyone else wanna share their similar encounters or experiences?
