Original series ending wasn’t ‘that’ bad

I always see people dicking on the finale of the original series, but it really wasn't that bad. They definently screwed up the end on of with keeping Dexter alive but the rest of the episode was pretty good. In the perfect finale they should have killed Dexter, but who can blame them, they knew eventually they were gonna make more seasons, so they couldn't kill him off.
