How would you add/alter a class/subclass' supers to better reflect their "theme"?
As title, each class has a "theme" they're built around, and that has been more-or-less reinforced as subclasses/supers have been added.
If you could, which would you change to fit the classes/subclasses theme more accurately?
For me, Titan could use an almost complete rework.
Solar is fairly good, I think. Little fire-bonk and big fire-bonk work fine, thematically.
Arc could be changed in two ways: 1) Turn Fist of Havoc into a weapon, greatsword, maybe, to better fit the "knightly" esthetic, and 2) Turn Thundercrash into either a huge leap with the sword, or a massive thrown lance.
Void shouldn't have had you just Captain-America around with the shield. Lean into the "wall against which the darkness breaks" theme by making the Sentinel titan a Spartan, the quintessential "Shield Wall": Give him a spear AND shield. Attack with spear, block n toss with shield. Thematically phenomenal.
Twilight Arsenal is good, but I think the axes could have been better used elsewhere.
Bringing me to Strand, which should have been the axes. Sever is literally a keyword in Strand, and a Berserker running around with a pair of bearded axes, Severing everything it hits would have fit the theme perfectly. Feels like a missed opportunity.
Stasis is an odd one, for me... I still feel the Titan should lean into "Big armor boi + Weapons" but I'm not sure what could go here... Halberd, maybe? It doesn't really feel "Behemoth-y" enough...
Anyway, what are everyone's thoughts? What, if anything, would you change about supers to better fit the themes/aesthetics of the classes? How wrong do you think my ideas are?
