Leviathan and the glycon made Calus mysterious and terrifying, then Bungie just made him a joke.

I’m really disheartened about how Calus was treated, years of lore build up, several near encounters, back and forth dialogues. His form being described as barely being held together, his pysioic powers. All of that wasted, for him to be physically seen once, in a purple bucket helmet, and then killed off instantly. Like? You just have to ask, what was the point? Did bungie create this character just to kill him off in a rushed filler expansion that was never supposed to exist? How could they not navigate their characters better then this?
