Clueless bride looking for wedding lehenga

Hi! I am a bride in Virginia getting married this fall & looking for a white bridal lehenga for my wedding. I’ve been to several stores near me but not too happy with the selection. Some of them do a custom dress. Is it recommended to go custom, buy online, travel somewhere else to look for more variety? I am super lost and scared to buy something I’ve never tried but also not really sure what the most common/best option is.
