Almost passed out

Hey there! I’m about a month in. I got hired at an office with no prior schooling or experience. It’s going really well and I love how much I get to challenge myself every day; i’m learning so much!! I stepped in towards the end of an implant placement procedure and the tissue flap freaked me out!! I started getting hot and had to ask my trainer to step in because I thought I was gonna pass out. She sent me to the lunch room and called out for someone to come help me over the headsets we wear. They did amazing haha apparently it’s more common than you’d think. I’ve assisted on extractions and other “gross” surgeries before. I’m just curious if anyone has had a similar experience and if you think it would be different if I was there for the whole surgery? Instead of just seeing the ending of it when the Dr was close to suturing it up. Any tips either? I was really trying to use the “mind over matter” thing and just tell myself that I was fine and I wasn’t going to pass out but it just got too strong and I didn’t want to faint on a patient. TIA!!
