I wish they connected Jenna’s bf stealing with her backstory

My interpretation on Jenna’s character is that she’s a boyfriend stealer because her parents kinda abandoned her so stealing bf is a way to seek validation that she doesn’t usually get. So many characters get interesting backstory’s and I think Jenna is one of them. It’s unfortunate that they never utilize it. I think that’s the show connected the two dots, it would have made Jenna a more sympathetic and interesting character rather than just an obstacle in the just because. What do you think?
