What is wrong with survivors?

This is like my second time playing and I came across something called a “bully squad” while I was streaming the game for a friend of mine. I got looped, tagged, hit with a flashlight every 5 seconds so that I would just drop someone that was downed, and then I got trash talked through PSN. . They even went as far as to extend the match as long as possible by just simply not doing generators and making my gameplay as miserable as possible. I’m horrible at the game yes but I don’t feel like I deserved all that. I eventually just ended up leaving after about 30 minutes because it just felt awful to play. I am already about to quit this game.
