Fighters: Excellent Builds Discussion 2.0
I main fighter, 1st character I created. I’ve posted my skill build as you can see. Normally I would have a crossbow and crossbow expert equipped in place of two hand jumping, but I heard about so many people complaining about the jump overhead smash spam so I thought I would see if it’s any good.
Pretty comfortable with my build and have had lots of practice compared to the other classes, but I am by no means the best fighter around. Just pretty good.
I really want to know does anyone run a mix of plate armor on fighter? Or are we all slayer builds? Since I first put on the slayer skill, I haven’t let go. I was struggling with the agility of my enemies and slayer seemed like the best solution. Especially now that they buffed it this season. But I’m sick of looking at my dude wearing a stupid leather cap or a stupid leather beanie. There is so much more cool looking plate armor for fighter, but it doesn’t look so cool when you’re slow, you’re dead, and gets looted from you anyway, so any success out there with good agility builds with a mix of plate armor?
Follow up thought to that: does anyone run sprint skill instead of shield rush? I love shield rush, but it fails so many times. You hit one pixel of a wall, you hit your teammates running in front of you even when you tell them to clear the lane. I have run right up on enemies and sometimes it just doesn’t connect at all. It doesn’t work like it should imo. But back in my early days learning how to play I would run sprint with a longsword and just run people down ready to parry combo.
For weapons I run buckler and a one handed sword obviously, I like to mix it up with falchion and arming, my secondary rotates between standard crossbow, spear, longsword, and sometimes any other two-handed weapon because I’m bored.
Fighters! Please share your builds and experiences!
Edit: deleted the original post because my dumbass forgot to add my skills screenshot 😅
