any DanDaDan theories/headcanons?

(Tagged as a spoiler just in case, and Manga because this little guy hasn’t appeared in the anime yet)

The little guy in question is Mr. Mantis’s son, Chiquitita! But as you can see, he looks nothing like his father, so how does that work?

Personally, I think the Mantis-man species undergoes multiple moults before reaching the final, adult form capable of being ‘upgraded’ into Super-Mantis Shrimp.

What other theories/headcanons for characters do you all have?
