Door frame cracked… how to fix?

Totally new to DIY, first home and noticing lots of things I didn’t notice before 😅

The door frame in one of the rooms is full of cracks and gaps and in need of some TLC. Not sure where to start to go about correcting this? Any suggestions or advice very welcome.
