Internships for Undocumented Student?

Hello, out of curiosity are there any undocumented people who were able to get an unpaid internship in college? I’m a second year computer science major in Texas and I would really like to apply for internships but I’m a little afraid to even ask if I would be eligible. I know that most internships ask for a valid work permit but are there any work arounds that people have found. Thank you :)
