Help me pick a heavy defense county

I want to play as a count, preferably 867, with non stop defensive wars. Is that even a thing?

I’m always on the offense, usually tribal or clan, smashing everyone around me. And was wondering what it’s like to actually be in the defense of a warmonger who wants to paint the map.

Anybody know of a count who is constantly under attack? I’m thinking maybe England defending against Ivar maybe?
