Another New Character?

So we already have 3 new additions to the commandos for season 2:

  • King Shark
  • Khalis (Mummy)
  • Nosferata

My theory is that the commandos (as monsters) are represented by classic horror movie characters.

* = kind of a stretch

  • Frankenstein (Frankenstein)
  • The Bride (The Bride of Frankenstein)
  • Nina (Creature from the Black Lagoon)
  • Weasel (Werewolf)*
  • Doctor Phosphorus (The Creeping Flesh, he's also a freaking skeleton)*
  • GI robot (Hardware, Terminator, RoboCop)*
  • King Shark (Jaws)
  • Khalis (The Mummy)
  • Nosferata (Dracula movies)

So who could be next? Going off classic horror characters I speculate we can have either a ghost, alien, or invisible character.

My top picks:

  1. Gentleman Ghost - He's a well-established character in the DC animated scene with appearances in Batman The Brave & The Bold, JL Unlimited, a Lego movie and game, and the newest Batman animated series: Caped Crusader. He is a ghost that has invisibility powers and has a "tragic" backstory as Nighthawk lynched him in the 19th century. Nighthawk is reincarnated as Hawkman, who is possibly canon as Hawkgirl was in Circe's vision.
  2. Knockout - A member of a suicide squad in the comics and relates to Superboy. Concerned about aliens being in the CC as all the existing members are from Earth.
  3. Blindspot - Yeah the list gets way worse after Gentleman Ghost. Anyway, he is a part of the Intergang, which operates in Metropolis, and with the new Superman movie, metropolis becomes even more canon and usable (Metropolis was already mentioned in CC, during Nina's backstory). He's not as exciting as he is just a human that has a device that can make him invisible, but he's worth a shout.
  4. The invisible man - This is so unlikely because his superhero counterpart is Bulletman and he has no references past World War 2. His only power is invisibility and he looks lame so I don't know why I'm even considering him.
