USA Tariffs - US Goods sold at Costco Canada
Like all of you I am extremely disappointed in the tariffs as it is unnecessarily going to hurt people in Canada and the USA. However I will be doing what I can to avoid US products and some of us may have no other choice when we inevitably see prices on US goods spike on our beloved Costco shelves.
I am wondering if we could perhaps post a sticky thread in this subreddit to make shoppers aware of the list of goods that are US made, Canadian made, and Other Foreign made to help members in Canada anticipate price increases and avoid those products if they stay on the shelf.
I have googled a few products that are staples in our home and have been pleasantly surprised so far at how many products on Costco shelves are actually made in Canada! Toilet paper for example, most dairy and meat is all made in Canada.
