My antidepressants are working :D

Not sure if this is something to be congratulated on, but it seemed like a good community to share this in. I've been an anxious person for about as long as I remember, but in college, it got to a point where it really impaired my daily life. I've tried different therapies, ways to distract myself, I've talked to people I trusted... but in the end, it just wasn't enough.

I've been on antidepressants for a few weeks now and it's such a big change! I used to be scared of my emotions and didn't understand how other people could lean into them so easily. I now realise my emotions were just objectively scary before, but they can be managed now :D It's such a relief to be able to just live, without being constantly scared of getting triggered or triggering myself accidentally. What a life changer!
