Honest Question: Why is hyper rolling not good in this meta?

With such an econ level 7/8 focused meta, why is no one even considering hyper rolling? I dont even pretend to know what I am talking about, tanked about 400 lp this patch after feeling lost and dropping back to plat, but since then I actually have had decent success hyper rolling knights or gun slingers. Sure Ive literally never gotten a top 1 doing this, but I have at worst finished 6th and that was a weird game where even I got to level 8.

I feel like with the greater damage and the existing greedy playstyles that hyper rolling knights could be good and then transitioning into like nobles with kaisa or knights with draven or even knights with kaisa and assassins if you get a knights vow or ghostblade. Thoughts?
