Security+ renewal

Hey everyone, I want some input on this. So I plan on buying Certmaster to renew my Sec+ but the thing is my Sec+ expires in 2026 but I wanted to buy the course next year to try to get it done. Should I do it next year and if I finish would it next year would it renew even before 2026 or should I wait closer to 2026?
