Internet and Transport in Florencia, Caquetá.

Hello,

My apologies if this isn't the right place to ask this question, but I thought it's worth a shot.

My wife and I are traveling to Colombia in June to visit her family. We'll be staying for about a month, but I'll be working about 1/2 the time. I need pretty decent Internet connection when I'm there so I can do teams calls and whatnot. I'm not really sure how the infrastructure is down there or what to expect. My wife hasn't set up Internet there before and been back in 5 years due to immigration difficulties, so a lot has changed.

I know the infrastructure varies greatly city to city, so I wanted to ask if anyone has had experience with this. Things work much differently there to in terms of billing, insurance, etc. and I'm trying not to dar papaya out of ignorance. I was going to go to a cafe to work from there, but my wife said that there aren't really cafes like that in her city and also she's worried I'm going to stand out as a mark since I am very clearly American and I'll have my expensive laptop with me.

Also, I'm not sure what the public transport is like there or car rentals are like, if they're available. Again, when I ask my wife, she doesn't really know bc a lot has changed since she was last there. Her family don't rent cars, so they don't really know. Their family usually ride motos everywhere, but they said they wouldn't recommend it for me bc the streets are very chaotic.

Any advice on this or anything else generally would be much appreciated.
