My Uber review so far...

Just tried Uber out to see how it went. Requested a car from CSU to my house in Lakewood and got picked up in literally 5 minutes. Driver was an awesome old dude, and the drive went quick. The vehicle was a Honda SUV and was in good condition. The inside and outside were very clean and everything worked properly. If it werent free until the 23rd it wouldve cost me 15 bucks for the cheaper version(which I got) and around 38 for the expensive version. The difference is that the cheaper version is just drivers working independently that Uber gives contracts too. The expensive version is for Ubers own professional drivers and their fleet of cars. Pretty sick. The only thing I didn't like was that I didn't see anywhere to enter the number of passengers in my party, which I imagine could cause some hiccups for people.

P.S. I tried to tip the guy and he said they dont take tips!

TL;DR It's pretty great and beats taking a taxi, IMO

Edit: I did do some reading on Uber, and apparently they got caught or were accused of inflating their "surge pricing" rates by creating driver shortages on purpose by not hiring enough drivers. So beware of that, you can read the full article here http://mobile.theverge.com/2014/2/26/5445210/in-san-diego-uber-kept-drivers-off-the-road-to-encourage-surge
