The BBC Symphony plays Bartók, Ravel and Janáček at the Barbican on 12 March
This is to advertise the next concert I will be going to. The BBC Symphony Orchestra are playing the Bartók Cantata profana, Ravel Piano Concerto for the Left Hand, and Janáček Sinfonietta at the Barbican on 12 March:

Despite the composers—with the exception of perhaps Ravel—not being household names, I would argue that this might be a good concert if you’re new to classical music, as all three pieces on the programme are relatively short and concise. This would make a short night, as far as classical concerts go, ending around 9pm.
