Who tf doesn’t upgrade their tower princess level?

I mean seriously, you don’t get a new tower troop until arena 8 or 9 I think (cannoneer) yet his tower princess level is 1 while his king tower level is 13. Just to let you know if you haven’t noticed this is in retro Royale.
