Can a city change religion?

Civ V is my main game and I have no DLC for it so I've not had the chance to play with religion. Civ 6 has been gathering dust in my Switch game case for a few years now and I decided to play Poland and go for religion so I can learn and I think I'm learning it decently. However, a city states trader has just infected one of my 2 cities with its religion before I've even had the chance to found my own. Is there anything I can do to change Warsaw's religion to my own once I get my prophet or is my run doomed?
