AMNSE Success vs University Series
Saw this on TT today, and I’m curious, what do y’all think went wrong with the University Series aside from the casting? For me, Gwy Saludes’ controversies really took a toll on the adaptation. TRIE was filmed right when she was in the middle of her biggest issue, and no matter how much she tried to hype it up, people just weren’t having it. She even gaslit her Areums into trusting her, saying she’d personally guide the cast to act and deliver the lines the way her characters would. She almost lost her entire writing career back then, but it looks like she’s slowly making a comeback since I’ve been seeing her post more online.
