Wedding Planners - what is a reasonable cost?

My fiancé and I are interested in mid-level wedding planning services - we don’t need someone to plan every detail, but we would like support with design/vision and logistics beyond just a month-of coordinator. We reached out to a few planners and were pretty surprised by the cost. Most quoted us based on their top level package pricing, but even so, 5 vendors so far have said their services are $20K+. Is it possible to get mid-level planning services for $5-10K? Or less? Thanks!
