I am little worried about the future...

ChatGPT came out in late 2022 and today it has advanced so much, it is crazy. You can already use it as your own friend, therapist, doctor, teacher or whatever you desire.

I’ve been thinking a lot about how fast AI is advancing and honestly I am little worried about the future. Not because of how smart it’s getting but because of what it might do to how we connect with each other as actual people.

We already spend so much time glued to our phones, avoiding real conversations, right? Now imagine a future where you don’t even need other people at all because AI just... replaces them. AI driven robot husbands and wives, virtual best friends who always understand you and fulfill your desires, digital everything.

Like sure it might help some people feel less lonely, but doesn’t that just push us further apart as a society even more? If you’ve got a robot partner who never argues or a perfect AI friend who always listens, why bother dealing with messy, imperfect human relationships?

It’s scary to think about a future where we’re so disconnected from each other and where we forget how to actually be with other real people and this will eventually lead to things like major drop in population, making us socially awkward and so on.
