rehoming my cats?

i have 4 cats. i got my 4th one in september from my upstairs neighbors who were severely neglecting him. since then he’s adjusted really well to being here and bonded with one of my cats. the issue is i’ve realized that i cannot properly handle 4 cats. i can’t even handle 3 if we’re being honest. i live in a 2 bdrm 1 bath apartment. it’s taken a toll on my mental health and just has gotten too expensive.

the new cat (charlie) has really bonded to doc. i’ve had doc since he was born. my question is, should i rehome them together? would it be less stressful on them if they go together? i don’t want to lose doc but i think he would thrive in a place that has more room.
