Any danger in giving my cat baby yogurt melts as a treat?
Somehow, at some point, my cat developed a taste for Gerber snack yogurt melts?? I very rarely (like once a month) will give her a couple and I just wondered if there were any inherently dangerous ingredients that should not be given to cats. She only likes the mixed berry flavor? Such a weirdo 😅
Here are the ingredients: Cultured reduced fat milk, sugar, raspberry and blackberry puree, non fat dry milk, tapioca starch, gelatin lactic acid esters of mono and diglycerides, vegetable and fruit juice, colors, vitamin C. Cherry juice concentrate vitamin E natural mixed Berry flavor, vitamin a acetate
I think she must have picked it up when I owned a few rats and gave them as treats to my rats. She won't take any cat treats, only these baby yogurt melts and I have to lock them up where she can't get to them cause she has been known to rip the bags open if she can get to them. I know that generally cats shouldn't be given milk because of lactose intolerance but any other danger here?
