If all car insurance companies are bad/scams, which is the least horrible?

Have to renew my insurance this weekend, looking at HDFC (36k) - for some reason by far the most expensive, ICICI Lombard (21k), Reliance (14k), TATA AIG(17k), Acko (14k) etc.

Have heard horror stories of almost every company regarding claims at this point. Anyone with prior experience with them, please share your inputs below
