Should I be concerned about the TikTok ban?

So I'm sure most of you know the politicians in Washington are looking to ban Tiktok, and it looks like they have a fairly good chance of succeeding. And Capcut is made by the same company that owns TikTok.

Which is why I'm a bit concerned. Now that I've finally gotten fairly good at CapCut, the last thing I want to do is to start over with another software. Has anyone else here had that same concern? And if so, what's the contingency plan in case CapCut gets banned as well as TikTok? What other free software should I be looking at just in case CapCut becomes unavailable one day?
