Grail CF SLX 8 DI2 - Road setup

Because not many post this kind of setups here, I wondered to post mine instead.

Like many others, I was looking for a “do it all” kind of bike for a while. I wanted the possibility of riding gravel but also road. I was also looking for (semi) integrated cable routing and internal frame storage. Eventually I went with the Canyon Grail CF SLX 8 DI2 in Metal Grind in size M (178cm, 82 inseam (if I remember correctly).

Bought an extra carbon wheelset for on the roads, the FFWD Tyro 2.0 45mm deep carbon wheels and added the Vittoria Corsa Control G2 28mm road tyres.

Added a Garmin Varia and Canyon rear light for added safety. Have the Canyon front light too but only use it for the late evening rides. Also added the Canyon handlebar bell.

The bottle cages are Supacaz Fly Poly cages. 1 regular, 1 right. Looking to replace them because the right on is rubbing my frame but I managed to overturn the screws so I’m looking to find a way to loosen them…. Dumb

Really love the bike and it motivates me to ride more and more. Looking forward to structured training on Zwift this fall/winter to get myself ready for longer rides, both gravel and road.
